DESIGN SERVICES
Trace Design Studio provides complete interior design services for your home from the initial phase of defining your signature style, to designing custom features, overseeing construction project management, and final staging.
We work with clients on the interior design of new construction projects, full home remodels, kitchen and bath renovations, as well as interior design and decorating by room.
We design and select every aspect of your home interior including flooring, millwork, wall finishes, lighting, appliance and plumbing selections, custom cabinetry, custom built ins, window treatments, furniture selections, custom furniture design, upholstery, decorative accessories and art curation.

No. 1
INITIAL CONSULTATION
The project begins with a discovery call or an in person site visit to meet and discuss your project in more detail.
Design services are offered on an hourly basis so after collecting the initial information we will provide an estimate of hours based on your unique scope of work.
No. 2
CONCEPT DESIGN
We'll then schedule a site walk through to take detailed dimensions and photos of your home and work with you to define the project vision and style.
Once we have a clear idea on your expectations and desires we begin developing ideas for the design such as material and furniture direction.
We then present the Concept Presentation to review our main ideas and make sure we're on the right track before we dive any deeper.
No. 3
DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
Next the concepts are developed into final designs and selections are made based on your feedback.
The design schemes, materials, and furnishings are then presented along with plans and 3D views to help you visualize your space.
We take note of any changes you request and work on it until we get it just right. Once we've gotten your seal of approval we draft the ID AutoCAD drawing set to send to contractors for bidding.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT
We then review the project and drawing set with multiple contractors to find the best fit for you and your project.
We coordinate installations and provide on site observation to make sure things are developing according to plan from beginning to end.
We also manage the project budget and work with multiple trusted vendors to purchase all the materials and coordinate deliveries and returns as needed.
No. 5
INTERIOR STYLING
After construction and deliveries are completed we purchase final accessories and provide all the finishing touches to each of your spaces.
For clients from out of town we also provide Turn-Key-Turnovers upon request so you can begin enjoying your new home the moment you arrive.
No. 6
WELCOME HOME
At the end, we welcome you and your family for the big reveal and check in with you shortly after for any punch list items.
We'll continue working on the project and coordinating with any trades and vendors until it's absolutely perfect.
